Armal’s Fund

In the Mariborska livarna, we fulfil our social responsibility with the Armal’s Fund for healthy drinking water in schools. The Fund’s main goal is to encourage youth to have an active and positive approach towards the environment and nature.

We equip the schools, which were selected by a tendering exercise, with quality Armal fittings; the centre of the action is oriented towards stimulating the youth’s consideration of water and of the importance of preserving its sources.

Today, 155 schools from 6 countries participate in the Armal’s Fund. In total, we have donated 1345 Armal fittings and other material to encourage youth to have a responsible approach towards water.

The supporter of the Armal’s Fund is, inter alia, an acknowledged Slovene skier, Tina Maze, who became its ambassador in 2009.

In the school year 2011/2012, the Armal's Fund has been carried out for the eight time with the call for tenders aiming at all primary schools in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo.
